Summary:
Duties of the Night Warehouse worker include order fulfillment, loading and unloading bobtails or trailers. Packing, sorting, staging, checking, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Read customer orders/pick tickets to assemble customer orders accurately from stock and places orders on pallets or moves orders to loading dock to prepare for shipping. Securely palletize and wrap product
to prevent damage during transport.
2. Move product from various areas of the warehouse safely and
efficiently utilizing electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, or standup forklifts.
3. Electric pallet jack, stand-up forklift & cherry
picker experience is a plus but not required.
4. Effectively communicate with Managers, Supervisors, Leads and
fellow team members.
5. Responsible for the safe operation of all
warehouse equipment daily. always Adhering to proper OSHA safety practices to ensure the safety of self and fellow co-workers.
6. Sorts and stores goods in designated cold rooms and freezers throughout the facility.
7. Responsible for the proper handling of all company issued equipment.
8. Responsible for reporting all safety concerns in the work
environment immediately to a manager, supervisor, or warehouse lead.
9. Ability to endure cold environments for extended periods of time. Cooler areas can get as cold as 34 degrees Fahrenheit.
10. Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
11. Maintain a 100% accuracy on a daily and weekly basis.
12. All equipment operators are required to complete daily equipment inspection logs at the beginning of each shift.
13. Must follow all company policies and procedures.
Schedule/Shift: Sunday - Thursday 7pm - 3:30am
Pay/Compensation: Hourly/Paid weekly.
Required Education and/or experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to three years related job experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
(ENTRY LEVEL POSTIONS AVAILABLE)
Language Ability:
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
Math Ability:
Basic math skills with addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
