Description
The Sales Representative will be responsible for the developing relationships and company brands within assigned account region. Sales Representative must be willing to plan and execute on assigned sales goals and supplier initiatives. This person will also be expected to provide and execute at the highest-level customer service and professionalism as customer service is our top priority. This Sales Representative will be expected to plan and execute events during not only day time business hours, but also evening and weekend events.
Daily Functions:
- Account Visits within territory
- Daily product presentations of new and existing items
- Planning and executing monthly, quarterly and yearly assigned goals
- Manages inventory needs for assigned route
- Communicates new business and updated forecasting in a timely manner
- Must be able to accurately recap monthly business
- Navigates all customers issues and communication is a timely manner
- Abides by TABC guidelines
- Responds to customer communication with speed and accuracy
- Enters orders via hand held computer when necessary
- Communicates with Class B partners to ensure new On-Premise items are properly requested, billed, and delivered
- Organizes and executes on Promotions in assigned territory
- Gives training seminars on categories as well as company products to help drive business within assigned territory
- Supplier partner market work withs weekly
- Monthly/Quarterly product surveys of each customer in assigned territory
- Have knowledge of all brands and packaging in every account.
- Write order and maintain the par level.
- Review emails on what is on truck and orders
- Know special allocation lots of products
- Must be able pass drug screening, basic physical, background check, and have a clean driving record

Physical Demands:
- Frequent tasks (75%-100% of the day that could last from 6-10 hours depending on the number of cases sold and delivered for that day)
- This position could consist of standing, sitting, kneeling, squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, lifting, twisting, stair climbing, and reaching/overhead reaching
- Standing for long periods of time
- Travel within assigned Sales Route Daily 75%
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in spirits industry, distribution, importer, hospitality experience and/or College Degree
- Must be licensed to operate a company vehicle
- Must own a vehicle and maintain insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and able to operate a computer
- Must be able to be licensed by the TABC, must be 21 years old to apply
- Spirits Knowledge, preferred Certified Spirits Specialist, but not required
- Austin Resident
- Knowledge of the Austin On Premise Market
- Able to lift at minimum 40 pounds and stand for lengthy periods of time
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Must be able to work most nights and some weekends
- Able to develop long term relationships
