Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000

The primary role of the Supply Planner is to manage the Sealy component supply chain and ensure adequate supply availability to meet or exceed customer expectations. Problem solving, process improvement and strong communications skills are required as-is the ability to forge strong relationships with manufacturing, sourcing, suppliers, logistics, finance, sales/marketing and other key functions.

 

What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Manage key Sealy components across 16 Sealy Plants.
  • Create and communicate component level forecast across multiple suppliers.
  • Communicate promotional calendar to ensure material availability & capacity at plants.
  • Set target inventory levels and communicate them to material planners.
  • Monitor inventory status by plant to pre-empt any stock out situations.
  • Working closely with sourcing counterparts, identify shortages against inventory plans, and assess alternative sources & resolutions.
    • Facilitate allocation between plants to ensure continuity of supply against sales orders.
  • Monitor order service levels and proactively work to resolve open issues.
  • Communicate excess component inventory working with the plants to mitigate imbalances.
  • Facilitate Supply Reviews and regular planning calls.
  • Participation / facilitation of key Supplier QBRs
  • Proactively manage KPI performance indicators in accordance with corporate policies i.e., on-time, forecast attainment, DOH, etc.
