Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information, while performing a wide variety of credit functions. Following established guidelines, takes action to process driver returns and sales requests for product credits. Prepares reports reflecting status of credits. May also assist with training. Communicates and interacts with customers and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.



The Senior Transportation Coordinator position will perform the following duties:
 

• Tracks and reports driver and route data.
• Analyze and interpret numerical data and perform financial analysis.
• Assist in reconciling accounts.
• Work with Inventory control to manage credits to customers while not negatively affecting the Inventory structure.
• Performs driver check-ins.
• Trains drivers in proper completion of paperwork.
• Maintain the Operations email inbox in a timely manner.
• Answers and coordinators incoming transportation-related phone calls.
• Communicate with other departments on decisions or questions regarding credits on account.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
