POSITION SUMMARY
The Market Coordinator (MC) will be responsible for store operations within a given market. The MC will be responsible for scheduling, on-boarding new staff on store procedures and processes and conduct store audits for validation of store readiness and preparedness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):
Training & Development
- Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and lectures
- Schedules, coordinates, and trains all new sales staff on:
- store operations
- systems/computer training
- general policy and procedures
- customer service.
- Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness
- Evaluate training materials prepared by training department, such as outlines, job aids, training modules, and handouts
Scheduling
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the work schedules for the assigned markets
- Works with Store Managers for emergency staffing
- Schedules and informs sales management of requested time off
Coordination
- Validates and audits (not limited to):
- store readiness (POP, price tags current, etc.)
- floor layout adherence
- backroom organization.
