Position Summary: Shepherd Electric Supply is hiring a Class B Truck Driver to handle routes in Baltimore County and surrounding areas. This role involves operating 26 ft trucks, loading/unloading, and assisting the Warehouse team. The ideal candidate has a CDL, Class B license, local driving experience, and can perform general warehouse duties.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Pay: $22.00/hr-$25.00/hr

Essential Functions:

• Transport materials using 26 ft box/flatbed trucks (manual and automatic trans)
• Possess and maintain a valid CDL, Class B or Class A license
• Load and unload trucks, assist with warehouse duties as needed
• Familiarity with Baltimore and surrounding areas for local driving
• Perform general warehouse tasks such as pallet wrapping, picking, and packing

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record
• CDL B License Required; Class A License preferred
• Current DOT and Medical Certification cards
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.; experience driving tractor trailers with manual transmission
• Knowledge of air brake systems; forklift certification preferred
• Availability for second shift as required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
