As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping machines, mechanical equipment, or our building of an establishment in repair. Duties may involve pipe fitting; boiler making; insulating; welding; machining; carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment; and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs.is responsible for examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose sources of trouble.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma

  • Strong basic math skills.

  • Read drawings/blueprints and make accurate measurements.

  • Proficient with sheet metal work, general machine work, and welding.

  • Two to three years on the job experience is required, plus basic maintenance metalworking and carpentry skills.
