What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and execute test plans to validate that NPD and sustaining engineering programs meet product requirements.
  • Execute test strategies to ensure quality, functionality and performance of printers and materials. Work hand-in-hand with R&D, factory, and marketing teams to develop cost-effective test strategies and test plans to mitigate risks.
  • Work together with product teams as needed to resolve issues in an efficient manner to support product launch plans.
  • Learn and apply industry standards for printer performance, reliability, and print quality testing.
  • Assist with development of internal standards and test processes as required.
  • Understand measurement tools and techniques, and make recommendations for measurement equipment as needed.
  • Manage printer test labs, equipment, and calibration schedules.
  • Performs other tasks as required. Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the duties listed on this job description.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Associates Degree or comparable experience
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and experience writing technical documents.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to take ownership for all aspects of product testing.
