The Ultra Maritime Project and Program function is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programs. The function controls program costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required.Nationality Requirements

Job Description
The Program Management function in Ultra Maritime manages one or more
Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor, Control and Close assigned Sonobuoy Production programs in accordance with process to ensure maximum value to our customers and to Ultra. Oversees optimal utilization of staff and resources to meet project goals, to include:
Lead program teams in the execution of assigned efforts
Ensure compliance to requirements of each contract and delivery of a quality product
Provide optimal communication between internal stakeholders and customers
Create companywide engagement within the different functional organizations to deliver project goals
Key responsibilities
Drives cost efficient innovations in business execution to deliver program goals within the defined cost, schedule and scope
Ensure the product developed and delivered is of the appropriate quality
Leads Program Managers as assigned to strategic programs
Leads multidisciplinary team of contracts, purchasing, quality, finance, engineering and manufacturing through indirect reporting structure
Obtain the needed support and resources to achieve execution
Ensure optimal application of resources
Execution in accordance with released process and procedures
Advocate the best solution (project/product) for customer and Ultra
Clear and concise communication of each assigned effort to internal and external customers
Achieve sales and profit goals for individual efforts
Promote best practice and continuous improvement in delivery of scope
Develop proposals and bids in support of customer requests
Work under own initiative
Promote a safe work environment for project teams
Duties/Tasks
Provide guidance to team on execution of project goals
Monitor and control progress across the project lifecycle
Maintain positive relationship with customers
Regular communication of project status to internal management
Support internal and external audits against company process and procedures
Perform relevant processes to achieve project goals
Keep his/her Manager informed of problems arising that impair the efficient completion of projects
Conform and comply with current Health & Safety Regulations
React to day to day issues associated with projects in a timely manner
Maintain appropriate project and program records
Utilize best practices in execution of job functions
Understand financial performance and impacts of assigned projects
Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
Undertake and complete additional tasks, as directed by his/her Manager
Participate in the continuous improvement process and initiatives
Qualifications / skills required
Basic professional degree with 13 years of experience in project or program management position with responsibilities delivering project and program goals or Advanced professional degree with 11 years of experience.
Capable of leading small to large ($1M-$30M) Production programs
Experience in engineering development or product manufacturing environments
Comprehensive/in depth understanding of project management
Manages large, high level complexity projects with minimal oversight or direction
Recognized as an internal project expert with broad experience in a project leadership role
Takes consultative direction against annual goals
Manages large complex tasks within projects
Communicates within and outside the organization to influence practices and approaches
Develops the project team members in support of project goals and organizational skill sets
