Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare month end financial closing including analysis of production P/L (e.g. variance analysis) and develop financial forecast

  • Continuously monitor key financial KPI, evaluate risks and provide financial analysis and advise to operations management team regarding efficiency, process improvement and cost savings

  • Ensures adhere hence to IC pricing principles and Transfer Pricing guidelines in line with internal/external standards and requirements

  • Responsible for accuracy of inventory valuations including flow of materials through the plant

  • Responsible for fixed assets including the capital appropriation process, asset valuations and adherence with FHCS fixed asset policies

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper internal controls according to Freudenberg Group and FHCS guidelines

  • Support Make-or-Buy scenarios by providing inputs regarding local production costs

  • Meet all FHCS/Freudenberg Group reporting due dates

  • Support operations with development of annual operating plans

  • Maintain current and accurate cost accounting records

  • Supports actively in the implementation of all changes in
    corporate standards and procedures

  • Does work on ad-hoc requests

Qualifications:

Professional Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting,

  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in cost accounting and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment

  • Fluent English written and spoken to lead correspondence with FHCS group wide stakeholders

Specific knowledge

  • Local GAAP and IFRS Accounting knowledge

  • Cost and investment controlling

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • Understanding of Lean Methods

  • Expertise working with Microsoft Excel for data analysis
