Description

The Precast Estimator is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to estimate the cost for precast concrete construction projects. Working directly with the sales team, the Precast Estimator will help cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers, helping identify needs and appropriate products to meet those needs. The Precast Estimator is also responsible for representing and promoting the core values, mission, and vision of Knight’s Companies.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare quotes for customers, providing itemized pricing information in accordance with the established pricing matrix.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key and target accounts to assure total customer satisfaction, business partnerships and growing levels of commercial, residential and/or utility activity.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
• Perform all job duties in accordance with company safety and environmental policies as well as Company procedures and policies, without exception.
• Promote and adhere to the Company’s core values

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Three (3) to five (5) years construction industry experience, preferably in the target market.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-focused philosophy.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all operations levels.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Mathematics proficiency including use of feet, inches, and fractions.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in extreme weather, including but not limited to high heat, low temperature, and high sun environments.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs.
• Ability to perform direct keyboard entry operations for regular periods of time.
