Job Responsibilities:
- Joint responsibility with departmental supervision for certification and re certification of all employees for each skill in non - critical operations for the entire facility.
- Maintain all departmental training and certification files as necessary for all employees performing all jobs.
- Maintain and continually update as necessary all training programs in relation to safety, quality, production, company and departmental procedures.
- Perform all written and practical test and maintain these records.
- Keeper of all shop manuals.
- Communicate all procedures as needed or as changes arise.
- Maintain a running list of all safety action items resulting from any need for improvement. This includes but not limited to audits and any other safety related programs.
- The trainer will be responsible for all training and the Department Supervision will be responsible for completing all action items.
- Report all issues of concern to upper management as necessary using company policy and company Ethic procedures.
- Support line supervision with records for all employee performance that will be used in the hourly annual performance review procedure.
- Must show innovation in problem solving while following Quality, Department and Company policies.

- Required to work overtime and hours other than normal shift hours as required by management.
- Ensure a training plan is in place for every process performer
- Create, assist or ensure that training materials for tasks/processes have been developed in accordance with management directives.
- Generate and maintain as necessary all training programs and departmental procedures.
- Working with management, ensure that all employees are trained, certified and re-certified as required.
- Maintain departmental employee training and certification documentation. Ensure documents are current and are reviewed periodically.
- Assist supervision in tracking progress of employee training according to department and company policy.
- Responsible for compliance to TI-QC 45 requirements. Maintain department operations QC, MI, and TI shop manuals. Ensure communications have occurred regarding new or revised MI, TI and safety procedures.
