Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The product engineer will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring yields, reporting discrepancies versus plan, and ensuring effective coordination and communication of these operations with the Sales, Manufacturing and RD&E teams.  
  • Coordinating and monitoring the material characterization and quality assessment activities in the context of production and development of SiC material. 
  • Supporting continual improvement of ISO-9000 Quality Management System. 
  • Maintaining and updating product specifications in accordance with the established procedures. 
  • Provides operational management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering data and trends. 
  • Monitoring and enforcing data integrity and proper database utilization in all manufacturing areas. Including, but not limited to SPC with respect to performance (parametric) data.

Education & Experience

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
  • 3+ years experience  in manufacturing of advanced materials or semiconductors
  • Experience in crystal growth for semiconductor applications is desired

  • Office and site visits to customer and manufacturing sites.
