Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The product engineer will be responsible for:
- Monitoring yields, reporting discrepancies versus plan, and ensuring effective coordination and communication of these operations with the Sales, Manufacturing and RD&E teams.
- Coordinating and monitoring the material characterization and quality assessment activities in the context of production and development of SiC material.
- Supporting continual improvement of ISO-9000 Quality Management System.
- Maintaining and updating product specifications in accordance with the established procedures.
- Provides operational management information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering data and trends.
- Monitoring and enforcing data integrity and proper database utilization in all manufacturing areas. Including, but not limited to SPC with respect to performance (parametric) data.

Education & Experience
- BS or MS in Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field.
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing of advanced materials or semiconductors
- Experience in crystal growth for semiconductor applications is desired
