Inventory Control Group Leader – 2nd Shift – based onsite in at our new Bryan Dairy location in Seminole, FL.
We have all shifts available for this major expansion!
2nd Shift is approximately Monday through Friday, 3pm – 11pm Eastern Time
We are currently seeking several Inventory Control Group Leader to join our team. The Inventory Control Group Leader will oversee and manage the inventory control activities for their assigned shift in our manufacturing facility. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, coordinates with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels, and leads a team to achieve operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.
What can you expect to do?
Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the material handling team during assigned shifts.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members to ensure adherence to procedures and accuracy in inventory management.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems and procedures.
Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
- Communicate effectively with other shift leaders and management to report on inventory status and resolve any issues.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting any significant issues or trends.
What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in in inventory control or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
