Performs variety of activities in support of the Facilities function for specific project/business/technical unit. Provide support to project or multiple projects supporting external and internal customers. The incumbent acts as a liaison between BAE internal employees and customers. Gathers, collects, records tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Knowledge of project planning and project management practices and procedures. Knowledge of and experience in plant engineering and procedures supporting building operations.

Represents Facilities organizational unit on project and plant engineering administrative matters. Compiles technical, financial, and other data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials. Maintains tactical responsibility for tracking financials and follow-up on timelines and deliverables. Place orders with procurement, act as material coordinator on behalf of facility project managers/leads and plant engineering team members. Makes appointments, meeting arrangements, and coordinates activities between program management, customers, and outside parties. Coordinate travel arrangements, calendar updates, and expense submission. Utilizes internal work order system to implement, track, close work orders, and run reports. Assist Plant Engineering managers with budget tracking and expense analysis for assigned building occupancy accounts.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.  This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Skills and Education
  • Associate’s degree with one year experience or HS degree with 3+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in MS office tools including database manipulation, advanced experience in Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Must have organizational, planning and communications skill bolstered by a collaborative work environment.
  • Must have a degree of tact, accuracy, judgement, possess a high level of initiative, and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of business practices and procedures and the ability to interface well with all levels of management.

Typical Education and Experience
Typically a High School Diploma and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
