Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Level 1 – Bottling Operator

  • Can perform all key aspects of the position proficiently:
  • Performing cleaning and sanitation properly
  • Disassembling and re-connecting equipment
  • Performs start-up checks and adjustments as needed
  • Able to run and operate production proficiently
  • Can resolve routine machine interruptions
  • Performs line clearances independently
  • Performs quality checks at correct intervals
  • All Quizzes have been successfully passed
  • Certified to verify for one of the production lines
  • Follows Packaging Label Records (PLR) Steps correctly
  • Maintains current training requirements and certifications independently

Qualifications


Education and/or Experience:

  • A high school diploma is required. 

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and email messages.  
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  
  • Ability to write notes to document actions taken and conditions observed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes the ability to see from a distance and close up. Employee is occasionally asked to move or lift inventory weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds, using a pallet jack, forklift or dolly.


Work Environment

The primary work environment of this position is a manufacturing plant. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
