Salary Range:    $25.50 - $25.50 Hourly

Description

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Lead in our Printing department to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials.

Experience (preferred or required):

  • HS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years of strong manufacturing experience with proven ability to drive results.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and drives safety initiatives in department.
  • Operates printers, labelers, packaging, and material handling equipment as required in a safe and professional manner.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand the production process as it pertains to printing and/or labelers to produce the highest quality parts.
  • Monitors machines or equipment for alarms, indicators, and or unusual sounds to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Work with other team members to complete tasks and achieve department goals.
  • Must be able to accurately complete all administrative paperwork, entering of data into computer.

  • Performs other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications


Position Requirements and Skills:

  • 3:00pm-11:30pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Additional $0.75/hr. lead premium.
  • Will be given additional training specific to the role, processes, equipment.
  • Must be driven by data and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to grasp and understand the technical knowledge of all equipment.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to motivate employees.
  • Must be reliable, dependable, and safety oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Excellent attendance record.
