JOB SUMMARY:
A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring that
the load is correct and secure for transport.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirements
  • Packaging cabinets while moving down the assembly line and using strapping machine to
    secure box for loading
  • Use scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled
  • Accurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and parts
  • Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loading
  • Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirements
  • Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
  • Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

Required Physical Ability:

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
