Inside Sales Representative

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, providing technical expertise and support tailored to customer needs.
  • Generate and qualify leads, identify potential opportunities, and provide customer feedback to management.
  • Prepare and make presentations, provide information and technical support on products and services to prospects, customers, and colleagues.
  • Utilize problem solving skills to troubleshoot issues with customers, provide detailed reports of findings, and recommend solutions.
  • Utilize sales strategies and techniques to negotiate contracts, close sales, and meet sales goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure the company’s products and services remain competitive.
  • Manage customer accounts including order processing, invoicing, and collections.
  • Analyze customer issues and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss customer issues, product updates, and sales strategies.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of company products and services.
  • Adhere and comply with state and federal law, the Company ISO Quality Program and procedures, Company policies and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • 4 or more years of sales or related experience.
  • Experience using ERP systems and sales systems, such as CRM desired.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team member.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
