Position Summary:

These positions are an important part of the guest experience and excellent service provided by the Simon Pearce Restaurant team. Bussers are primarily responsible for setting and clearing tables according to Simon Pearce standards in an efficient manner to ensure tables are ready for the next guests as quickly as possible.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Friendly, professional demeanor

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Assists the servers as needed to optimize the Guest's dining experience.

• Cleans large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service.

• Ability to communicate clearly and be positive, polite, and cooperative with co-workers, managers, vendors and guests

• Reports to work in the correct uniform and on the station as indicated on the weekly work schedule.

• Correctly completes closing duties at the end of each shift.

• Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift. Reports any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the Chef or other Manager-On-Duty.

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications preferred:

• At least 1 year of previous work experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work in a limited physical space with variable atmospheric conditions including ventilation, lighting, smoke, and extreme temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
