Job Summary:

An employee in this position is responsible for various types of spot weld preparation, spot welding, and manufacturing products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Spot Welding Operations

• Operate various Spot Welding Equipment.
• Prepare spot welding set up per safety guidelines.
• Interpret mechanical drawings including weld requirement symbology.
• Work with conventional and precision measuring instruments.
• Perform process inspection, certification, and documentation.
• Maintain welding equipment through regular maintenance activities.
• Produce products within the allotted time frame/delivery standard.

Department Support Functions

• Engage with department computers for data entry.
• Collaborate with other departments on scheduling.
• Uphold high standards of safety and housekeeping.

Teamwork and Professional Development

• Actively participate in fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals.
• Seek opportunities to cross-train and learn different aspects of the manufacturing process.
