WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Develops, test, and maintain courses and materials used in training. Establishes course content and student learning objectives. May prepare course syllabus, lesson plans, and student manuals, and coordinate the development of training aids. Reviews problem areas and identifies training needs. Develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Updates course materials on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance. Conducts training using all methods of delivery. May direct the work of other technical trainers.

  • In this role, you will grow our internal talent pool through the delivery of classroom, in person and virtual training programs.
  • You will guide our exciting Graduate Sales Academy (GSA) and Territory Manager (TM) participants through training and coaching activities that result in increased performance, industry knowledge and business results.
  • You will build relationships at all levels of the organization and identify presenters that can enhance the proficiency of others’ selling skills, product knowledge, account management capability, and business acumen.
  • You will be organizing class calendars and agendas for students and presenters, with a blend of coaching, workshops and other activities that enhance learning.
  • You will hold career development discussions and provide meaningful, actionable feedback to class participants and leadership.
  • You will collaborate with peers, sales leadership, marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure program content supports the needs of the business and stays up-to-date and relevant.
  • You will leverage appropriate technology, learning techniques (e.g., role-playing, modeling), and different modalities to build skills and enhance individuals' knowledge and performance.
  • You will display fluency in sales tools (ex: Salesforce, Qlik, SAP) and provide training to improve the GSA participants and sales team business acumen skills and knowledge
  • You will guide internal employees through the Signature Sales model and other selling skills/best practices to help them understand and meet the customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • You will assist with recruiting new GSA participants and other sales team members.
  • You will develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities, make appropriate updates as information changes or gaps are identified, and update course materials on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $85,600 - $112,350 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Bachelor's degree (highly preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply learning theories to classroom situations
  • Presentation skills using a variety of technologies
  • The ability to create learning that is impactful, engaging, and relevant.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Open to experienced HVAC sales professionals, sales training professionals, or other relevant experience
  • Ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time for district meeting training in the US and Canada
