The Principal will partner with our asset management clients to help drive more efficient and effective distribution strategies through a combination of Broadridge data and solutions paired with client data and systems. This role will be responsible for developing new business for the Broadridge Distribution Insight group through a combination of onboarding new clients for existing solutions and leading new growth initiatives. This will require the development and maintenance of strong relationships with senior executives in the asset management industry and a client centric orientation.
The Principal will participate in analytical product development and custom consulting projects focused on delivering new analytical insights to clients. Therefore, this role will require collaboration with both clients and Broadridge colleagues to deliver the right solutions to each client. Success in this role will require strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organization, and strong project management skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with our asset management clients to help drive more efficient and effective distribution strategies through a combination of Broadridge data and solutions paired with client data and systems
- Maintain and build relationships with senior executives in the asset management industry
- Partner with Broadridge colleagues across groups to develop and build new solutions and products
- Act as a project manager on custom consulting engagements with clients helping to drive value at the client and ensure solutions are being leverages effectively
- Create presentations that effectively translate complex ideas into actionable insights
- Develop new business through a combination of onboarding new clients for existing solutions and leading new growth initiatives
- Develop new thought leadership content and present at industry events
- Collaborate with colleagues to help map and drive the direction of the team based on client demand and industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, statistics, psychology, sociology, or other relevant field (10+ years experience preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think creatively is required
- Experience in asset management distribution and familiarity with vendors, data, and systems being used today
- Understanding and ability to discuss statistical analysis and modeling
- Ability to present complex data sets and analysis in easy to understand ways
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required
- Proven ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with senior executives
- Experience processing and analyzing large data sets. Expertise with Excel is required
- Experience in consulting or project management is strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in an environment with limited oversight on a day-to-day basis
- Track record of selling complex solutions to clients is preferred
- A client centric attitude and willingness to meet the constantly changing needs of clients is required
