Welch Fluorocarbon, Inc. is currently looking to fill the role of Shipper Receiver to join our Manufacturing Team.

Essential Tasks:

  • Verify incoming products against the purchase order
  • Verify Shipping paperwork packages.
  • Prepare shipping labels, documents and packets.
  • Prepare and pack boxes and materials for shipping.
  • Process and ship rejected vendor products for shipping.
  • Track outgoing shipments
  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Perform user maintenance on all assigned equipment.
  • Maintain an active inventory of consumable shipping supplies.
  • Identify and recommend new equipment and supplies.
  • Provide reports on shipping & receiving activity as requested.
  • Maintain the Shipping & receiving area
  • Make recommendations for changes to the shipping & receiving procedures and policies to the Manufacturing Warehouse Group Lead.
  • Advise other functions of changes that could affect their operations.  


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-4 yrs. experience in shipping/receiving
  • Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, Domestic, and INTL systems
  • Experience with Air and Sea Freight logistics and customs clearance
  • Quick learner, fast worker
  • Able to juggle many different tasks/responsibilities with ease
  • Basic computer skills, working knowledge of Excel
  • Assists in meeting department objectives and preparing all shipments on time
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and organized
  • Attention to detail/visional oriented
  • Ability to meet shipping deadlines
  • Completes other projects as assigned by management
  • Other projects as deemed necessary

Physical Requirements

  •   Able to lift objects 30-60 lbs using proper lifting methods
  •   Use of hands/fingers to handle or feel to operate office equipment
  •    This position consistently communicates with their team as well exchanging information with all other teams via email, speaking and hearing
