The Boeing Company’s Information Technology and Data Analytics (IT&DA) Engineering and Product Support Organization is currently seeking a Mid-level Software Application Developer to join team in either Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; or Hazelwood, MO.
This organization supports and provides comprehensive software solutions used to develop and deploy highly optimized authoring and delivery of interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs) for complex military platforms. A successful candidate will assist with the development, maintenance, and support of the Intelligent Graphics (IG) technology applications. The selected applicant will be able to work independently as a developer and function effectively in a complex and varied domain. This role’s primary support is to the F/A-18 program with growth opportunities to support additional customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Developing, documenting and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
Developing and maintaining code and integrating software components into a fully functional software system
Developing, selecting, and deploying processes, tools and metrics
Planning, executing and documenting software projects
Troubleshooting and investigating problems across software components
Providing expertise on software methodologies and processes to internal/external customers
Providing support on Computer Graphics Metafile (CGM) and Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG)
Supporting operational and integration issue resolution
Interacting with peers and customers
Working well with others on a team, as well as independently
Working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience developing with object-oriented programming
3+ years of experience with C++
3+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
Experience with vector graphics (CGM/SVG)
Experience with Perl, Java, C#, etc.
Experience with geometry, algorithm development, Electrical Schematics, System Schematics, etc.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range: $97,750 – $141,450
