Position Summary
Assist with the acquisition and ordering of parts, work order creation, fuel management and inventory for the Southern Paving Shop/Fleet.
Responsibilities
  • Filing
  • Parts running
  • Assist with end of month activities
  • Pressure washing equipment as needed
  • Shop clean-up and organization
  • Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
  • Other duties as required
Skills/Experience
  • Ability to work independently / Self motivated
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, customers and vendors
  • General understanding of construction equipment and industry
  • Desire to advance within shop department
  • Maintenance related experience preferred
  • Colorado Driver’s License with Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Educational Background
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
