Shaw Industries is looking for a Process Engineer to provide production engineering/process control support for the Air Texturing and Needlepunch department for Plant SI.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for helping to maintain safe work environment
• Responsible for evaluating/managing process improvements (Quality, Safety, Productivity, etc).
• Responsible for working with various groups (e.g. customers, tech service,
quality, production, maintenance) to resolve quality and production issues.
• Responsible for efficiency and reliability of automated guided vehicles in
department
• Take actions to meet site goals for % efficiency and % waste.
• Establish, maintain, and issue process specifications and operating instructions. • Work on a variety of projects/trials to improve production and implement new styles.
• Participate in the Site Continuous Improvement efforts
• Communicate and enforce standards and expectations for all shift employees.
• Participate in special plant safety activities as appropriate.
• Other duties/projects as assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements:
4-year Degree (Preferably Engineering) OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years progressive manufacturing leadership experience and project management experience
Preferred:
Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma Certification
