Founded in 2007, Quantum Flo is housed in a brand new, state-of-the-art, 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Sanford, Florida, just north of the Greater Orlando area. Our systems are assembled, and flow tested in our on-site test lab where we feature a UL508A industrial custom control panel facility and a large production shop.  Quantum Flo began as a result of the efforts of a determined team of professionals committed to redefining the packaged pump systems market. Primary Job Duties: 

Responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, counting, and handling of all materials in the warehouse. Tasks include cleaning and polishing welds, adding wooden bases to frames, assembling electrical enclosure boxes, measuring, cutting, deburring, and preparing metal for welding. This role involves general warehouse work, maintaining cleanliness in the plant, and operating small machinery and tools as needed.

  • Inspect, verify, and audit materials received to ensure they are not damaged or defective.
  • Accurately count and record quantities on packing slips.
  • Label products and place them accordingly.
  • Move materials by hand, hand truck, or forklift to maintain a continuous flow of goods; stock items on shelves and racks as needed.
  • Load and unload materials upon receipt or shipment to customers.
  • Accurately complete paperwork associated with tasks as required.
  • Clean welded parts using TIG Brush Weld Cleaning Machine and solutions.
  • Add wooden bases and electrical enclosures to frames to prepare for motor and pump assembly.
  • Measure, cut, grind, and prepare metal parts for welding.
  • Crate and prepare finished products for shipping to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
  • Operate small machinery and tools.
  • Perform various duties such as accurately drilling out back panel boards from provided templates and mounting enclosures to frames.
  • Perform housekeeping duties including cleaning up waste, wood, general refuse disposal, wiping, wet and dry cleaning, sweeping, and/or mopping inside and outside.
  • Ensure safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities.
  • Work assigned schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Proficient in reading and speaking the English language to communicate with co-workers, understand and provide directions, respond to management inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
  • Preferred 2+ years’ experience in a safe warehouse/production environment.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Capability to safely operate a forklift after obtaining a license.
  • Light carpentry skills and accurate use of a tape measure.
  • Good mechanical abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Team player, adaptable, and flexible.
  • Maintain good attendance, arriving on time, and working scheduled hours.
