Beyond Gravity US is seeking candidates for the Senior Sales Manager for Business Unit Electronic Solution product portfolio within the Business Development organization This position will be responsible for successfully create and convert business opportunities into contracts for Business Unit Electronic Solution US opportunities. The Product portfolio includes products in the range of Avionics, Computer and Interface units, Power-distribution and control, Control electronics, Onboard Processing, GNSS receivers, Microwave/RF-electronics, and Antennas.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create profitable business including long term price strategy by creating and executing Capture Plans
• Establish and efficiently and in a cooperative manner manage Capture Teams (with Key Account Managers, Project, and Product Portfolio Management/Chief Engineers) with strong international matrix teams
• Responsible for Bid//No bid Decision Gate and Bid Submission Gate
• Establish customer proposals, including pricing, cover letter, terms& conditions etc.
• Coordinate negotiations
• Build customer network and keep updated on customer need
• Report prospect funnel development
• Predict sales orders
• Secure yearly forecasted Order Intake at good contribution margin
• Work with Business Development teams to secure business pipeline and bid management
• Proposal management all the way to contract
Job Requirementes:
• Leadership skills in an international environment
• Excellent verbal and written English, e.g. selling proposal with a distinct message
• Skilled strategic negotiator
• Networking skills with ability to create long term customer relations
• Strong Team Player with a cooperative leadership style
• Entrepreneurial thinking, solution driven, willing to make a difference
• Technical background in relevant fields with strong aptitude and passion for learning (BS in Engineering or related field)
• Existing network with the US Space Market
• Business driven with a commercial mindset
• Open-minded, adaptable to change, willingly involves others and shares information
• Ability to keep structured and to prioritize in a complex environment
• Must have interest in collaborative workspaces
• Strong motivator with high energy level, finds motivation in winning profitable contracts
• Strong knowledge of DoD and US Defense Space projects
Preferred Job Requirements:
• Outstanding knowledge of the space market and competitive landscape
• Engineering competence within the field of Business Unit Electronic Solutions product portfolio and corresponding competition landscape insights
• Good business sense, holistic understanding of our business model and the effect of different price strategies
• MBA or related Masters Degree
