Logistics Associate at Stanadyne
Ensure material is handled, transported, tracked, stored, and distributed safely / efficiently to internal and external customers avoiding operational and logistics disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety rules are followed at all times
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the areas supported
- Proficiently operate a forklift, hand-truck, and other equipment
- Pull and transact material from storage to operational staging / feeding areas
- Physically transport and process transactions for machined, sub-assembled, and finished materials
- Collaborate with other departments to support production and effective material flow
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and reported timely
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Key team member in supporting cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy levels
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years experience operating mechanical material handling equipment
- At least 2 years experience feeding / supporting production lines
- At least 2 years of demonstrated MRP / ERP / Inventory Control Software experience, SAP a plus
- Attention to detail with excellent time-management skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
