As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of the physical infrastructure. Your role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, addressing repairs, and implementing preventive measures to create a safe and well-maintained working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues such as leaks, equipment malfunctions, and structural repairs. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems to determine the best course of action for repairs.
• Implement and execute preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment and systems. Collaborate with other departments to develop and refine preventive maintenance plans.
• Maintain outdoor spaces, including landscaping, parking lots, and walkways. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized groundskeeping tasks.
• Ensure facilities comply with safety regulations and standards. Conduct safety inspections and address any identified hazards promptly.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. Generate reports on facility maintenance status and recommendations for improvements.
• Act as a point of contact for emergency maintenance issues. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response.
