About the Role:
We are searching for the next front-line leader in the role of Equipment Care Team (ECT) Supervisor based in at our Pinjarra Refinery! You will play a key part in the success of work execution and people engagement in the area. The roster is a 12 hour day shift only position working 3 days per week.
In this leadership role, the Supervisor is accountable for:
Coaching and mentoring employees to reach their full potential,
Practising and upholding high standards of our process and production activities, and the auditing of standardised work practices,
Assisting team members to implement suggestion scheme ideas in contributing to sustained business system efficiencies,
Leading your team in the completion of their daily routines and problem-solving activities with a strong focus on coaching for improvement,
Planning and levelling tagging resources as part of the planning process, and
Being the lead tagger daily to ensure equipment availability for all planned maintenance activities.
The Supervisor acts as a help chain to the team by guiding the execution of work and utilising your problem-solving skills to assist with both production and interpersonal issues, supported and achieved through utilising the Alcoa tools and systems provided.

About you

A process background in an alumina/refining processing plant or mining/industrial environment,
A strong and dedicated commitment to safety, health and the environment in which we work,
Initiative and self-motivation to excel with minimal direction
Highly developed team leadership, communication skills, and experience in implementing and leading change initiatives, and
The dedication to meet challenges and work with a diverse group to develop and implement strategies across our workgroups!
