Description

We are seeking experienced assemblers to complete the daily production builds at our Cortlandt Manor, New York manufacturing facility. Assembly workers put together small to mid-sized parts from manufactured and raw materials, install wire harnesses and terminate cable assemblies. Typically, this job involves tasks such as installing, mounting, fastening, aligning, wiring, connecting, soldering, crimping, sanding, painting, gluing, cutting, or shaping various product parts. Air powered, electric powered and hand tools are used in many types of assembly work. At some stations, assemblers may be required to operate automated equipment. An Assembler may work independently, or with other assemblers in groups of 2-6 individuals, to complete production builds as directed by a supervisor or lead.

Requirements

An ideal applicant has the following characteristics, reliability, punctuality, tidiness, and diligence. They must demonstrate a steady work history with a prevalence of electronic and/or panel building experience and be able to provide references upon request.

Candidates hired into this role are to place into our Production Assembly Department, so specific prior experience in fields such as electronic panel building, automation cabinet wiring, electrical wiring, electronic soldering, and wire termination is required.

Compensation by the hour starting at $23.00 to $25.50 commensurate with level of experience.

This is a Full-time Position.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM.

Overtime is available once sufficient training has been completed, or sufficient experience is demonstrated.
