Job Description

Location: Edison, NJ

Work as a results-driven Architect to lead our application development team. Help with putting together application architecture which translates into optimized and scalable business operations. Design and develop software applications and act as a high-level decision maker in the process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards. Duties include the following:

• Lead the application development team and supervise the design, development, and testing.
• Compile and implement application development plans for new or existing applications.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership for Enterprise Applications and ensure stable systems availability, performance, compliance and security.
• Engineer and develop high complexity and high volume, scalable applications. Interpret and translate business specifications into technical specifications.
• Participate in on-call rotation and assist Functional Analysts in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Troubleshoot Oracle EBS application problems and work with Oracle Support as necessary to resolve them.
• Provide industry best practices and proof of concepts on latest technology trends.
• Solve data relationship problems, often by designing process and data structures to ensure data integrity across applications. The solutions need to be robust enough to support company growth and changing business priorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related field and 7 years of related experience, OR Master’s degree in same fields and 5 years of related experience. Total experience must include:
• 3 years of experience with OAF, Workflow, Business event, XML, Forms, BI Publisher, UNIX; Oracle APIs and Oracle E-Business Suite; SQL, PL/SQL, Java and Python;
• 2 years with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Finance, Supply Chain Execution, Web Portals or any other Business applications.
• Hybrid office/home work schedule.
