Staff Technical Marketing Engineer – DC-DC

Job Summary:
- This is a position with the technical marketing and application engineering team. Responsible for the definition and development of analog IC products for DC-DC power conversion solutions. Job duty includes competition analysis, simulation and bench verification for new product ideas, author product specifications, provide reference designs, evaluate new products, and write datasheets and application notes.
Essential Functions:
- Work with AEs, IC designers, packaging, and field team to define innovative products.
- Work with customers on system designs with existing products or developing new products.
- Provide application support and technical training for key customers and field application engineers
- Write datasheets, application notes, design notes.
- Survey and monitor the new market requirement, track key customer project status
Qualifications:
- BSEE or higher;
- 5+ yrs hands on experience with power electronics hardware implementation and testing;
- Familiar with Buck and Boost converter topologies;
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools;
- Experience with EMI/EMC testing and debug is preferred;
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills;
Education:
- MSEE or higher;

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $150,000- $180,000.
