Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean Offices and empty trash daily
  • Wipe all high touch areas daily
  • Clean all kitchen lunch areas daily
  • Clean all Restrooms daily
  • Mop floors all floors daily
  • Deep clean /Scrub all Restrooms monthly
  • Clean carpets with machine monthly
  • Strip and Wax floors Monthly
  • Assist Facilities technician with maintenance duties
    • Filter changes etc.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

  • Office furniture installations, reconfigurations, and removal
  • Emergency Response Team member
  • Painting and wall repairs
  • Picture and display hanging
  • Employee assistance
  • Cafeteria facilities support
  • Equipment and production area moves

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 2 — 3 years of directly applicable experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent, technical school preferred
  • Semiconductor fabrication facility maintenance background is a plus
  • Computer literate
  • Valid Driver's License required

Skills

  • Self starter, ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reasoning skills to solve facility related issues
  • Team oriented to work effectively with other members of the Coherent team.
  • Ability to use floor and carpet cleaning equipment

Working Conditions

  • Environment can be dirty, dusty, greasy, etc.

Physical Requirements

  • Employee must be able to pick up - motors, pumps and piping, up to 50lbs 

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
