POSITION SUMMARY:
The Raw Stock Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring all bar stock inventory is received, marked, measured and stored properly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load and unload trucks with bar stock.
- Pull material for work orders.
- Measure all bars delivered from vendors.
- Mark all bars with material numbers.
- Maintain inventory of all bar stock.
- Measure and repaint drops.
- Log out all material picked to a work order in Epicor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Inventory and forklift experience a plus.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have ability to operate a forklift.
- Must have ability to multi-task.
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
- Ability to think outside of the box and utilize reasonable deduction.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Environment: Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor shop environment; exposure to noise, dust,
grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions.
Physical: Primary functions require physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to infrequently climb on ladders or stairs; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel toe shoes and safety glasses, must be worn at all times while in the shop.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
All employees are to be indoctrinated in the QMS within sixty (60) days of hire.
