This is a full-time on-site position located in Toppenish, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!  

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): 

  • Ensure safe working environment for all employees. Promotes and participates in plant wide safety programs and is a member of the safety team.
  • Supports continuous improvement and production initiatives presented by the Plant Manager and continuous improvement leader.
  • Manages employee schedules and workflow to meet customer needs and maximize efficiencies and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor department supervisors and lead hands.
  • Manage work hour requirements and partner with scheduler to meet timely completion of jobs and projects.
  • Aids internal departments in detecting, addressing and preventing problems affecting efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborates with CAPA team in resolving internal and external customer concerns related to quality and reliability of products.
  • Ensures all employees, visitors, vendors, etc., participate and are responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laid forth in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.
  • Supports SQF Practitioner and assists in enforcing Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work facility.
  • Assist other departments as required.

  • Proficient math skills.
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Understand and use basic office equipment and programs.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish required.
  • 3-5 years management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multiwall field.
  • 3-5 years experience supporting and leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives. 
  • 3-5 years demonstrated ability to create, develop, and lead teams.
  • 3-5 years demonstrated understanding of flexographic printing practices.
