The Simulator Technicians are responsible for operation, technical analysis, modifications and sustainment of JSF Maintenance Training Devices in accordance with specific customer specifications and directives. Candidate will support the sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 Maintenance Training Devices at Eglin AFB, Florida. Install components and assemblies into full-scale aircraft simulators, racks, cabinets, workstations, and customer facilities. Perform, conduct, and document preventive and scheduled maintenance required for the devices and associated subsystems. Update maintenance data collection records and assist with the installation and check-out of modifications to equipment. Maintain simulation devices to meet customer availability requirements. Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals or simulator documents. Assist with installations, testing, and maintenance of operating systems software packages. Isolate and report malfunctions and discrepancies to the lowest definable levels. Establish and perform Operating System and Device maintenance employing industry standards. Will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin Training Team to achieve F-35 Maintenance Training objectives. Will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed. Comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with JSF Program and customer procedures. Must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.

Candidate required to work a flexible schedule aligned to customer operational needs, 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift and have the ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS Sites for support.

Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, work at heights, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Basic Qualifications
• Have and retain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, etc.) from date-of-hire, as a condition of continued employment.
• USAF, Navy or Marines Fighter Aircraft maintenance, avionics and/or weapons loading experience.
• Demonstrated background with computer and network systems problem solving and hardware/software change management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to work unsupervised towards program goals.
• Possess a current Final Secret security clearance with last investigation within 6 years.
Desired skills
• F-35 Maintenance with Vehicle, Mission and/or Weapons Loading Sys’s experience.
• Experience with drawings/schematics reading, interpretation and application.
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems, PowerShell, Trellix, Windows Defender.
• Network troubleshooting, maintenance and configuration experience.
• Ability to brief/teach technical information to internal and external audiences.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Automated Logistics Information System (ALIS) and Joint Technical Data (JTD).
• Appropriate accredited college degree or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• Current F-35 Maintenance Simulator Technician Experience.

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance Information
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
