The Offer Industrialization Leader (OIL) is the Squad's main contact for all matters related to industrialization, whether for new offers or for changes to existing offers. Based on customer values priority and backlog, is responsible for designing and qualifying the industrial process and flow.
· Steers product conception choices by Design for Manufacturing/Test and challenge squad members to obtain the most optimal product / process architecture from preliminary draft to the whole project, focusing on manufacturability, controllability, assembly feasibility, adjustability, testability, and product cost optimization
· investigates various industrial scenarios analyzing marketing data and performs make or buy analysis on components, sub-assemblies.
· Maintains a strong partnership with Factories and LoB departments (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain)
· Is responsible for the operational implementation of a complete and robust industrial system, meeting the Quality/Cost/Time objectives, the orientations of the Industrial Strategy and the fundamental corporate rules of Industrial Policy, SPS (Schneider Production System) and of SC&L (Supply Chain & Logistics). For this, he relies on risk management methodologies and cooperates closely with the resources of Industrialization specialists necessary for the industrial side of the activities.
· Identifies & coordinates a team of Industrialization specialists and other resources from plants, necessary to the industrial part of the project
· Optimizes the industrial investment scenario in an incremental approach allowing rapid market tests and an increase in industrial capacity while limiting financial risks
· Actively works on obtaining industrial financing (BCI) and controlling all expenses relating to industrialization (OPEX, CAPEX) and product costs to optimize project profitability. Fully coordinates Overall Product Cost through the product life.
· Develops Industrialization Project schedule including Critical path impacts of industrial activities and processes.
· Develops the industrial file for a transfer to the internal production units involved at the start of series production, in collaboration with GSC for the specific part related to the maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing means
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production (methods, production, maintenance), in logistics or in new products
industrialization (for example development of manual or automatic assembly means) - Strong knowledge of the 40 principles of SPS and Lean methodology
- Good analytical, organizational, and managerial skills (objective driven and systematical use of action plan)
- A 6 Sigma training followed by one or several projects would be a plus
- Solid managerial skills in project mode required (capacity to functionally steer/federate a team)
- Comfortable in communication in an international environment (mainly in English) and with regards to cultural differences
- Ability to synthesize and to adjust to required level
- Available for travels essential to the project (national and abroad)
