Hood Packaging Corporation, one of the largest manufacturers of paper packaging for a variety of products, is looking to fill the following position at their Vancouver, WA facility:

General Job Responsibilities:   

• This position is responsible for maintaining the electrical systems(s) of the plant, to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting facilities and such other electrical apparatus and gear as may be utilized in accordance with electrical codes, regulations and safety specifications.      

Education and Knowledge   

• Must possess a 01 Washington State Electrical License, and maintain all continuing education requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who have completion a formal electrical apprenticeship training program.   
• Proficiency in performing electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in plant facilities; knowledgeable in all areas of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70,70E and 79); and proven excellence in analyzing and solving problems with various electrical controls and systems.    PLC Knowledge a plus.
