Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Basic Function of the Job:
Performs a wide variety of highly complex boule and wafer fabrication tasks in support of the production process, volume manufacturing processes and RD&E for Advanced Materials products. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of process equipment including: Advanced Wafering Technology,. Surface Grinder, and X-Ray equipment. Must be able to articulate various types of hand tools and power tools to carry out the task at hand. The incumbent will work under the guidance of the Production/Engineering Team and will closely follow the engineering guidelines and written technological procedures. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S practices. Supports the scale-up of fabrication capabilities to keep pace with ever changing production levels. Contributes to the continuous improvement of fabrication capabilities to an industry leadership position. Participates in Advanced Materials Environmental, Health and Safety activities. Responsible for the II-VI ESGP appraisal system as it relates to your own career and personal development.

Education & Experience
High School Diploma plus additional training in fabrication or machining and equipment maintenance at a minimum.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. be able to work with hand tools, bend down, reach up and be able to stand up to 8-12 hours |
