Position Overview:
  • RTX Enterprise Services is seeking an Office 365 Development Engineer to manage a team of developers to enhance our Microsoft 365 environment. As an Engineer you will utilize your experience and knowledge of Office 365 architecture, administration, and best practice recommendations combined with a strong current and deep experience in security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls. This position is hands on focused on program target initiatives, maintaining documentation, diagrams, change control processes, tenant administration assistance and ensuring the environments are within RTX compliance mandates. The Microsoft 365 Development Engineer is a full-time position, this position will be part of a global Engineering team supporting our global tenants.
What You Will Do
  • Lead a team of Microsoft's O365 developers who can create custom code to support Office, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive and Intune.
  • Offer support for Office 365 administration, groups, licensing, automations, tenant health, and new service enablement.
  • Design and implementation of products based on requirements while meeting cyber and security policies for an IT subject matter area
  • Provide measurable input for new products/services, processes or standards in operational plans in order to implement business strategies.
  • Responsible for influencing others regarding policies, practices related to Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.
  • Participate in researching and testing next generation technologies
  • Coordination and escalation to Microsoft Support
  • Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area
Qualifications You Must Have
  • 10 years Expert level experience in PowerShell
  • Minimum 7 years experience with Office 365 as an engineer
  • Minimum 7 years experience in large enterprise environment
  • 10 years proven experience in providing enhancements within a dynamic environment where agile methodology is applied at scale
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • US Citizen or US Person required

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
