POSITION OVERVIEW

The Data Analyst II will use strong statistical, data and process knowledge to evaluate data sources, provide data analysis and cleansing, and create meaningful data visualizations through collaborative interaction with data science team members and customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work with business leaders and subject matter experts to evaluate project benefit and feasibility.
• Oversee organizational data collection, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Implement standards and best practices for functional areas reporting and data access security.
• Monitor data trends, patterns, anomalies, quality, and availability.
• Design and develop descriptive metrics, reports, and dashboards for functional areas.
• Instruct, guide, and support project teams or senior leadership in the development of ad-hoc reporting.
• Create new data features based on existing data to assist with predictive modeling.
• Assist with presenting findings, improvements, and cost savings to business leaders.
• Interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience creating data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools, like Oracle Business Intelligence or PowerBI.
• Proficiency in SQL and data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

WHAT WILL HELP

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including data presentation.
• Experience with real-time reporting tools, like Grafana or Kibana.
• Knowledgeable in Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Python.
• Programming experience in a .NET environment.
