Overview:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees a team of 5-10 employees and coordinates daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, and securing the warehouse.  The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Director of Operations and assures goals are met safely, accurately, and consistently following GMP protocols. This includes completing necessary documentation and reports in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.  The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supporting, training, and coaching of employees and ensuring a motivated, challenged and highly functioning team. Warehouse Supervisors are required to work overtime as needed to support the business requirements.

Needs to be well-versed in all food safe handling and storage best practices for raw material, packaging material and finished goods among other logistical disciplines, processes and health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have proven ability to deliver performance reports, maintain records, manage, and delegate.  The candidate will be a team-focused individual who is passionate and driven to deliver best in class performance and continuously improve what and how we do our work to ensure business success.  The individual is a role model for teamwork and easily works cross functionally. This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands on leadership for a warehousing team supporting business needs.
• Communicates and delegates job orders to employees.
• Oversees and scheduled the receiving, distribution, and shipping to, from and within the warehouses.
• Ensure proper process and documentation is maintained related to receipt, movement, product storage and shipping of product and components, including verification against pick slips and BOLs
• Professionally documents and reports issues and deviations.
• Supports production schedule and provides reasonable reasons for overtime approval.
• Leads and encourages the Team in a positive manner to ensure production, productivity, quality, and improvement targets are met.
• Leads by example, demonstrates how a job needs to be done by doing hands on training.
• Directs and Coaches employees to ensure adherence to workplace processes and standards.
• Ensures safety in the workplace by adhering to and making sure employees follow the companies’ safety policies and procedures, addresses concerns immediately.
• Adheres to GMPs, policies and procedures and ensures team follows them too.
• Accountable for employees work performance and break schedule.
• Ensures key productivity, quality, and safety parameters are measured and monitored.
• Actively looks for and identifies opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Positively and effectively deals with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
• Organize and ensure all required inventory counts of Raw and Pack, Finished Goods, and other supplies.
• Performs all required system transactions to ensure proper inventory movement and accuracy.
• Perform all required safety inspections/audits as assigned.
• Ensures and approves systematic time and attendance are complete and accurate on a daily/weekly basis.
• Orders warehouse supplies as needed.
• Sets up delivery and pick-up appointments.
• Schedules and coordinates repack area and employees.
• Other duties as required or assigned
