What YOU will do:
- You will serve as the engineering project leader for programs developing Avionics products, ensuring all hardware, software, and firmware components align with project commitments.
- You will provide project management and technical direction through all phases of the program, from pursuit and bidding to planning and execution.
- You will maintain strict adherence to Collins Aerospace's technical processes and ensure compliance with all program and product requirements.
- You will lead a diverse team of engineers, ranging from entry-level to highly experienced, guiding them in developing processing platforms and associated technologies.
- You will drive the development and transition of products into a manufacturing environment while employing cost reduction strategies to maximize impacts on the products.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Proven ability to lead large development teams and manage complex projects in ruggedized avionics product development.
- Experience in managing technical projects including schedule and earned value management, risk management, customer interactions, and briefing executive leadership.
- Knowledge of Avionics regulatory and certification requirements such as TSO, MIL-STD, DO-160, DO-254, DO-178B/C, DO-297, APR4754A.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
