Job Description:
The Stability Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating the stability process for raw materials and finished products as needed. This position will need to confer with R&D, Analytical and Microbiology and with other departments such as Sales and Marketing to determine product stability requirements, generate protocols, review data, and generate result reports that can be presented to customers. This position will also need to evaluate raw materials (branded and non-branded) and lead or assist with preparation of documents in support of customer needs. Must be detailed oriented and be able to multi-task. The Stability Coordinator must demonstrate adequate skills to deal with the different activities maintaining and coordinating the stability program.

About the Role:
- Generate stability protocols, review results reports, and troubleshoot any stability-related challenges.
- Coordinate with departments to identify materials requiring probiotic enumeration and stability studies, interpret results, and ensure compliance.
- Collect and distribute finished products for enumeration testing to internal and external analytical labs.
- Initiate and summarize sensory testing for applicable stability products, such as gummies.
- Fill out stability protocol forms and obtain necessary approvals before study initiation.
- Review, compile, and maintain analytical data in a central database.
- Manage and use stability chamber inventory, pulling samples as needed according to protocol, and monitor chamber performance.
- Conduct quality tests on raw materials and finished products following approved methods and cGMP/SOP/GLP guidelines.
- Sample raw materials and/or finished products for testing.
- Maintain thorough documentation and associated information following all FDA guidelines.
About You:
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Effective at collaborating with various departments and working in cross-disciplinary teams.
- Adept at maintaining and coordinating a comprehensive stability program.
Qualifications for the Role:
- At least 1-year experience related to the nutritional food sciences is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and professional business etiquette.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, or other electronic data recording systems.
- Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Efficient and timely reporting of stability issues.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedicine, or a related scientific field.
