Twinsburg, Ohio company seeking a Warehouse Manager. In this role, you will direct daily operations of the warehouse, including freight, shipping and receiving, returns and inventory.

Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment: determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
  • Direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
  • Control and manage inventory
  • Provide a central source for all information pertaining to inventory in each storage location, space used and space available in each location, and traceability of material movement through each location
  • Manage personnel issues, attendance, performance, and disciplinary actions as necessary for assigned direct reports.
  • Manage functional area.  Foster an environment of high communication, process driven operations, and improved system for each. Provide leadership to drive results, maintain high moral, and relay strategic messaging from above.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production and other supervisors and managers to optimize processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role in a manufacturing company
  • Comprehensive understanding of Principles of Lean Manufacturing
  • Proficient with WMS software
  • Experience in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Sage Software experience a Plus
