Position Overview

We are pleased to announce a new role supporting our Talent Acquisition process! The Talent Acquisition Specialist role at Masco Corporation offers a chance to provide exceptional administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team during the recruitment process. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, your crucial responsibility will be to ensure flawless execution of all operational recruiting and onboarding processes with precision, effectiveness, and timeliness. The role will be hybrid with some required onsite responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and transactional support to the Talent Acquisition team, assisting with the full cycle recruiting process.

  • Maintaining data integrity and compliance in Workday Recruiting and Phenom (CRM), handling day-to-day data input requirements, conducting audits and making appropriate corrections.

  • Arranging and coordinating both onsite and virtual interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Coordinating candidate background checks and other pre-employment activities, serving as the primary point of contact with the background check vendor.

  • Handling all new hire processes, including generating and delivering offer letters, preparing new hire packets, coordinating payroll setup, and ensuring smooth handoffs to the field-based People Services team for a successful onboarding experience.

  • Coordinating internal and external job postings, aligning them with our job board and sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

  • Assisting with recruiting report preparation and standard recruiting metrics reporting, providing valuable insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Responding to inquiries related to recruiting, such as application inquiries and questions about our recruiting processes.

  • Maintaining accurate and organized record keeping of all recruiting-related documents, such as applications and background check authorization forms.

  • Undertaking recruiting-related projects, conducting research, assisting in sourcing and recruitment campaigns, and delivering key outcomes as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Equivalent experience in the field will also be considered in lieu of a High School education. A BS/BA degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or customer service experience.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Familiarity with Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition is advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.

  • Proactively taking initiative and possessing strong communication skills to cultivate effective collaboration with team members and all relevant parties.

  • High degree of personal accountability, taking ownership of your responsibilities and delivering results with integrity.

  • Excellent relationship-building skills, establishing rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

  • Proven capacity for critical thinking and problem-solving, actively seeking areas for improvement and successfully completing effective remedies.

  • High proficiency with automated applicant tracking systems (ATS), with a solid understanding of Workday preferred.
