1 REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Reports to the IT Manager.
2 PURPOSE
2.1 Function
2.1.1 To provide specific support to the IT Manager;
2.1.2 Responsible for support of the existing and provision of the Information Technology System.
3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1 Directly implements network administration, including active directory, Office 365, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet wiring, Wi-Fi technology, firewalls, and switches;
3.2 Day-to-day upkeep and support of systems, ensuring uptime;
3.3 Support company-standard and third party software on the network, personal computers, and AS400 system;
3.4 Provide software support for AS400, wide area network equipment, and peripheral equipment;
3.5 Negotiate and manage service contracts for hardware support and arrange repairs as necessary;
3.6 Support and secure data and software applications;
3.7 Assist in the maintenance and coordination of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe and personal computers, workstations, software and peripheral equipment;
3.8 Responsible for the design, organization, and overall navigation and support of the JCSNA website. Ensure quality and content of the Internet and Intranet web pages;
3.9 Investigates and resolves computer software and hardware problems of clients/end users. Answers clients’ inquiries in person via telephone and/or Help Desk concerning the use of computer software and hardware. Function includes MS Office products, electronic mail, and entire operating system;
3.10 Manage the organization’s phone systems by arranging repairs and installations, assisting clients with phone problems, and educating new employees on phone usage;
3.11 Perform and schedule File Server, Exchange, and AS400 software and data backup and recovery options;
3.12 Arrange for off-site storage of critical data. Ensure the protections and integrity of all company information;
3.13 Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network and user activities conducted across the network and general computing systems.
3.14 Other duties as required.

5 SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Requirements
6 WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
7 QUALIFICATIONS
7.1 High school diploma or equivalent;
7.2 Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology;
7.3 One year of Auto Supplier experience;
7.4 Excellent organizational and communication skills;
7.5 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;
7.6 Team player and model employee.
8 PHYSICAL DEMANDS
8.1 Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
8.2 Must be able to lift 32 pounds at times.
8.3 Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
9 POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position regularly requires extended hours and possible weekend work.
10 TRAVEL
Local travel to various worksites is required.
